WW Around the World - Hong Kong, China

So now the semester is finally coming to a close and it is now finals week. The past four months in Hong Kong were unreal. It was so nice to be able to experience a new culture and meet some amazing people at the same time.

The past couple of months, I spent a lot more time taking in the Hong Kong life. Since I will be traveling to Thailand and China after the semester ends, I wanted to be sure I had time to get a true taste of Hong Kong. One thing I really enjoy about Hong Kong is that it is such a multicultural city. One glance around you and you will see Chinese, European, and even Americans wandering the streets. And while it was nice to have some authentic Chinese food, I am thankful for the Outbeak Steak Houses and Pizza Huts scattered around the city.

I am so happy to have spent a semester abroad. It was a great experience to be able to live in a foreign country and experience so many new things. This semester abroad taught me things I could never have learned at a semester at Penn.

I would highly recommend Hong Kong for those looking to study abroad!!
